Beating two big Serie A sides in January will define Juve’s season

Juventus have been on a roll and won six straight league games before the World Cup break, giving them the chance to lift the Scudetto once again.

They are ten points off the top of the league table now, but in their current form, they could be top come February.

When the league season resumes, the bianconeri will want to make sure they keep winning, and there are two games in January that could define their tenure.

On January 13 they will host Napoli in a game they simply have to win to prove they are in the title race.

Napoli were excellent in the first half of the season and passed some tough tests against AS Roma.

Juve will feel they can beat Partenopei, and that is the only result that will worry the league leaders and boost their confidence going into the remaining games of the season.

Another match that could make the difference in Juve’s season is the match against Atalanta on the 22nd. La Dea has also started well this season and will return in top form after the break.

If Juve beat Napoli and Gian Piero Gasperini’s team, they will be confident against any other opponent for the rest of the campaign.
