La Liga giants FC Barcelona intend to bid for a young Brazilian in the upcoming January transfer window.
After a very tough last season, Barcelona showed a clear intention in the transfer market from the first part of the summer to create a strong team that can fight for all the trophies.
Barcelona then signed Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich, Raphinha from Leeds United, Jules Kounde from Sevilla, Andreas Christiansen from Chelsea and Franck Kessie from AC Milan. On top of that, he resigned his French winger Ousmane Dembele and extended Gavi’s contract.
In general, Barca had a very good summer transfer window. However, the Blaugrana do not want to finish here. They still want to improve their squad with new arrivals and will be very active in the winter transfer window.
Barcelona wants to tie up a young Brazilian
According to reports from Spanish journalist Jorge Nicola, the Catalan giants FC Barcelona want to spend on one between the two Brazilian prodigies Endrick Felipe and Vitor Roque.
Reports further suggest that they will go for one of them in the winter transfer window.
Hailing from the Palmeiras academy, Endrick Felipe is one of Brazil’s best upcoming prodigies. The striker scored 165 goals in 169 games with the Palmeiras youth team.
The 16-year-old then caught the attention of Europe’s big teams after leading Palmeiras to the 2022 Copa Sao Paulo de Futebol Junior tournament title. He scored seven goals in seven appearances and won the Player of the tournament award.
After this, many big teams, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, made the youngster one of their targets. Endrick has also represented Brazil U16 and can only move to Europe in 2024 when he turns 18. However, Barcelona currently believe that they will not be able to secure his services if he does not move fast.
Thus, Barcelona is already preparing an offer for the Brazilian prodigy in the next transfer market in January 2023.
Another Brazilian prodigy, Vitor Roque, is also a target for the Catalan club. Roque currently plays for Athletico Paranaese. The 17-year-old has already scored 13 goals and provided 4 assists in 41 appearances so far.
His brilliant performances have caught the attention of the Catalan giants and he is also one of the goals that Barcelona wants to secure in the transfer window next January.

The Blaugrana have had a great start to the season in the league. They have five of their first six matches so far. Barcelona has added 16 points in these six games and is in second position in the table. The Catalan giants will now face Mallorca in their next game.
