Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix prefers a move to Paris Saint-Germain – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United has received a new blow in the race to sign Atlético de Madrid striker Joao Félix.

The Portuguese international enjoyed some form during the World Cup, managing to assist two goals and scoring one.

The Peoples Person recently reported that Manchester United had joined the race for Felix’s transfer.

However, with a high price tag of around €100m, a move to the clubs in January looks increasingly unlikely.

The 23-year-old has fallen out with his manager Diego Simeone at Atlético Madrid, hence his current form at the club.

He will be looking to move out of the club as soon as possible and will hope that a club can call him up within the next month.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, via Get Football News France, Félix wants to play for Paris Saint-Germain after new links with the club emerged in recent days.

This comes after Atlético’s general manager openly admitted that the player may leave the club in the January transfer market.

He joined the Spanish team in 2019 for a fee of €127m but has been unable to show his true ability since he arrived.

The striker has made 129 appearances in all competitions, scoring 33 goals for the club.

Di Marzio states in an interview that PSG is the preferred destination for Felix if a move can materialize in January.

“I don’t think Félix will go to Arsenal because he wants to play for PSG. PSG would be the obvious choice if he leaves Atlético, ”said the journalist.

It is unclear what direction United will take in the January transfer window, but a striker seems the most likely option considering the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cody Gakpo and Memphis Depay have been linked to the club in the last six months.

A right-back could also be a priority depending on the future of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams.
