Atletico Madrid is now leading Juventus in the race for French forward

Juventus remain in the race to sign Marcus Thuram as the attacker enters the final five months of his contract at Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The Bianconeri have watched him this season and believe the Frenchman has what it takes to do well for our team.

However, it is not the only club interested in the son of Lilian Thuram, so it would not be easy for Juve to incorporate him into their squad.

A report on Tuttomercatoweb reveals that Atlético Madrid also have interest in his signing and the Spanish team is now leading the race.

Atleti is still one of the best clubs in European football and the Spanish team has the money to offer Thuram a good deal.

Juve FC says

Thuram is a good young striker who could be a very good option for us if he moves to the Allianz Stadium. However, Atlético is a club that we must respect and we must act now if we want it in the summer.

The 25-year-old can already talk to other clubs and we will be smart to start negotiations with his entourage so that we can get ahead of the rest.

His father played for us and was able to convince his son to follow in his footsteps and move to Turin.
