Arthur rumours dismissed, 28 internationals & cup date confirmed – Latest LFC News – Liverpool FC

Liverpool have been confirmed with another date due to their busy schedule after the international break, while early rumors of Arthur’s departure have been dismissed.

‘Unintentionally’ out in January

Arthur arrived late on deadline day amid Liverpool’s midfield woes and has only featured for 13 minutes since, with time to regain some much-needed speed.

The Brazilian had not played for Juventus this season prior to his move and last started on May 6, so there was still something to be done.

Atletico’s Simon Hughes reported that Liverpool anticipate players covering 55km in a two-game week, a level of intensity that requires some adjustment, not to mention the tactical side of the game.

But all of that seemed to have played a part in Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb’s claims that the club could end Arthur’s loan in January as he was “not at the level expected”.

This has been picked up by other outlets and twisted into a story much bigger than it is and journalist Guillem Balague has since dismissed these rumours.

“Liverpool have not decided to extend the loan or buy Arthur, but have no intention of sending him back in January. They are still evaluating it,” Balague wrote on Twitter.

In fact, the coaching staff complimented him on his understanding of the system and its quality. He decided to ignore the days off to continue working because he knows that he still has to catch up with the demands”.

How about we give the guy a chance first?

Liverpool earned £151.87m in Premier League prize money last season, second only to Man City: cue the transfer replicas… now Thiago will enjoy some valuable rest after missing out on selection for the Spain team this month, we’re all pretty relieved, right? But 28 other Reds have been called up for international duty, including 12 veteran players; however, Naby Keita will surely not be present for Guinea.

Latest news from Liverpool F.C.

Liverpool have yet to fill the club’s doctor vacancy, leaving two internal candidates to take over for the time being. The date for the Reds’ Carabao Cup third round match with Derby has been confirmed, kicking off at 8pm on Wednesday 9 November; it has not been selected for UK television. And although Klopp’s team is not in action, it’s still a great weekend for the club with three teams in action – that includes the return of the WSL for the women’s team!

Chile will go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to replace Ecuador at the World Cup because of a player they say should not have featured during qualifying… And even if Liverpool are not in action this weekend, there is a lot going on and that could be seen. Diego Costa will debut with Wolves vs. Manchester City on Saturday.

Interesting Tweet and game of the night

Look at that right, we call it too wide.

It feels strange that the league continues this weekend but without Liverpool, however, you can still get your fix tonight with Aston Villa vs. Southampton at 8 p.m.

Nottingham Forest vs. Fulham is your other option.

Enjoy your weekend, Reds!
