Arteta Reacts to Wenger’s ‘No Weakness’ Praise

Reacting to Wenger’s words, Arteta insisted that they have to improve many things. He agreed with Wenger that they are going in the right direction, but emphasized that they can become much better than they are today.

“That’s great to hear from Arsene after being with him every day!” Arteta told Sky Sports. He further added, “But I see a lot of things that we still need to get better and better at. We are going in the right direction, but we can be much, much better.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal have had a great start to the 22/23 season. They sit top of the Premier League points table with 15 points from their first six matches. They are one point behind second-placed Manchester City.

Arsenal began their campaign with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace. They followed that up by defeating Leicester City 4-2 in their next game. Arsenal made it three wins in a row when they posted a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth.

The north London side hosted Fulham in their next game and came through, beating the visitors 2-1. Arsenal then faced Aston Villa and inflicted a 2–1 loss on them.

However, Arsenal’s perfect start to the campaign came to an end when they faced Manchester United at Old Trafford. Man Utd outclassed Arteta’s team, defeating them 3-1.
