Arsenal star trolls Ivan Toney following 3-0 win over Brentford

The opening night of the Premier League last season was memorable when newly promoted Brentford beat Arsenal 2-0.

In the aftermath of that clash, Brentford’s Ivan Toney took to social media to troll Arsenal with the famous tweet, “good kick lads”.

That tweet became famous after Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta used it to motivate his team for the reverse fixture at the Emirates, seen in the Gunners’ behind-the-scenes documentary series All or Nothing: Arsenal. .

Arsenal won that game 2-1 but it seems the tweet hasn’t been forgotten yet.

Arsenal traveled to Brentford today and continued their excellent start to the season with another impressive display. Arteta’s side came away with a 3-0 victory and centre-back Gabriel couldn’t help throwing a hint at Toney afterwards.

The Brazilian wrote the exact same tweet the Brentford striker did over a year ago, posting: “Nice kick with the boys.”

Toney’s tweet seems to have seriously upset the Arsenal dressing room as they haven’t forgotten about him after all this time, despite taking revenge twice.
