Arsenal and Chelsea could make a move for Nico Williams

Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with a move for €50m World Cup striker Nico Williams.

Williams is currently participating in the World Cup with Spain, and any positive performance could increase interest from other clubs. With the January transfer window opening just days after the World Cup ends, the players are firmly in the window of this tournament.

The Athletic Bilbao striker hasn’t had much of a presence in Spain so far, but we could see more of him as the tournament progresses.

Now, GOAL Spain has reported that both Arsenal and Chelsea could sign Williams in the January transfer window, with the striker from Bilbao with a release clause of 50 million euros.

It’s no surprise to see either club linked with Williams ahead of the January transfer window. Chelsea have struggled to create and score goals in the Premier League this season, and Arsenal need to increase the depth of the squad if they are to continue competing at the top of the table.
