Arrivabene wiretap suggests everyone at Juventus knew about Paratici’s shady dealings

Unfortunately for Juventus fans, our club is currently in the midst of a dangerous storm, forcing us to discuss matters that are not exactly at the heart of the Beautiful Game.

As we all know, former club manager Fabio Paratici did some shady deals during his free reign between 2018 and 2021.

The current Spurs official had embarked on a wild signing spree between first-team players and Juventus U23 stars while posting capital gains on reportedly inflated transfer fees.

The club has therefore been under investigation for months and a large number of wiretaps have surfaced recently involving the Old Lady’s senior officials.

In one of the intercepted phone calls, Juventus chief executive Maurizio Arrivabene, who has resigned, suggested that the nature of Paratici’s dealings was known to the entire club hierarchy.

“By now, they have become so adept at playing tricks,” Arrivabene said while speaking on the phone with a person from the club’s finance department, according to Corriere della Sera via JuventusNews24.

“It’s not like Paratici woke up in the morning and said ‘I want to make a nice capital gain today!'”

The source adds that prosecutors believe Arrivabene was referring to resigned club president Andrea Agnelli (who named Paratici in the first place) and majority owner John Elkann, who had already heard it from his cousin.
