Anthony Joshua In The Gym Training For Tyson Fury Fight On Dec.3rd

By Barry Holbrook: Anthony Joshua is already training in the gym for his mega fight against Tyson Fury on December 3 in Cardiff.

Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) agreed to full terms this week for a clash against WBC heavyweight champion Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs), and now has little time to train before meeting with ‘ The Gypsy King’ on December 3.

AJ and his promoter Eddie Hearn wanted Dec. 17 and a 60-40 split for the rematch clause, but they had no chance of getting what they wanted as Fury wasn’t budging.

Judging by Joshua’s physique compared to Fury’s, he probably doesn’t need two more weeks to prepare for this fight.

The only thing Joshua needs is a good game plan that he can employ to beat Fury because it’s arguably a more winnable fight than his last two against Oleksandr Usyk.

“He is in the position he is in right now. You are losing to great fighters, but we have no intention of losing,” Eddie Hearn told iFL TV when asked where Anthony Joshua will go if he loses to Tyson Fury.

“It’s very hard for people to talk about losses when you fight of that caliber. If you want it [Joshua] In order not to suffer defeat, I will keep him undefeated for the rest of his career.

“He doesn’t want it; I don’t want it, the fans don’t want it. We can’t walk down the street for the last three or four years without people saying, ‘When is the Fury-AJ fight?’ Well guess what? It could be December 3.

“I am not going to prevent the fight from happening with the ego. It’s Queensbury and Matchroom, and we’ve already talked about fighting together. The billboard will fall into place once we resolve the larger issues.

“First, let’s get the contract. Second, let the broadcasters do the talking, and third, let’s keep the momentum going to make it happen. All conversations with George [Warren] have been around this fight. A couple of other conversations have also been about other fights.

“Our focus, both of us right now, is trying to make this fight. Here we have the opportunity to make the biggest fight in British boxing the biggest fight in boxing, and we will see if it can be done,” said Eddie Hearn.
