Angelo Alessio supports the idea that injuries are a valid excuse for JuventusJuvefc.com

Italian soccer coach Angelo Alessio has supported those who believe Juventus are struggling because injuries have prevented them from using their key players.

The bianconeri have had a bad season despite the fact that they bet on their squad in the last transfer market.

Fans expected them to be in good form in the league and perhaps challenge for the title.

However, that has not been the case, and they are even struggling to win key games.

Max Allegri is under pressure to step down as manager of the club, and one of the reasons the club is keeping him is because injuries have prevented him from using their best men.

Alessio also sees reasons for this and says through Tuttomercatoweb:

“I think the year started badly; I think the causes of this period are many, but I think the injuries have had a big impact: they had to play almost always the same. Allegri have never had very important players available. A striking example in this regard are those of Chiesa and Pogba”.

Juve FC says

Juve is one of the biggest clubs in the world and we still have enough squad to help us face the games.

Key player injuries could be a problem, but we have enough depth to deal with them.

We must stop making excuses and show that we really are the team with the best players in the league.
