Ambrossini says Juventus dropped their levels in the second half

Massimo Ambrosini has commented on Juventus’ performance in their 1-0 win against Fiorentina and says he dropped in level in the second half.

Max Allegri’s men have been struggling recently and need to build a winning streak to end this season well.

Although La Viola has not had a good term, they had plenty of motivation to win something with the game.

Juve started as the better team and took the lead while looking for more goals. The black and white were easily the best team of the match and they were confident that they could finish the match with the points.

But they seemed to tire in the later stages of the game and Fiorentina almost earned a share of the spoils. Ambrosini watched the game and said via Tuttojuve:

“(Juventus) lost a lot, but Fiorentina was growing physically. Juve needed to limit the offer, perhaps that’s why Chiesa also came out, because Fiorentina put a lot of balls into the area”.

Juve FC says

Like most Italian clubs, Fiorentina level up when they face Juventus and they always make it difficult for us to get all the points.

Our guys deserve credit for how they were treated and we also had some luck in the match, but the key is that we secured the win.
