Amad Diallo produces incredible masterclass for Sunderland against Blackpool – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United loan Amad Diallo appeared for Sunderland when the Black Cats took on Blackpool yesterday.

Diallo started on the right of attack and, as has become his norm, put in another brilliant performance in the 1-1 draw.

Tony Mowbray’s side remained deadlocked with their only goal coming through Shayne Lavery.

However, it was the Ivorian again who drew attention, especially among United’s fan base, where supporters are increasingly excited at the prospect of the attacker returning to ply his trade at Old Trafford.

In the 90 minutes he was on the pitch, Diallo had 79 touches of the ball.

His passing was extremely accurate again: Diallo successfully completed 50 of the 55 passes he attempted in the game.

The 20-year-old made an incredible seven passes into the final third in his role as Sunderland’s creative outlet.

Diallo created two chances, one of which registered as a great opportunity.

The player had four shots to his name. Diallo, as he was against Wigan Athletic, had bad luck again when he hit the post with a ferocious shot that seemed to be on target.

Diallo’s amazing feet and tricks were on display for all to see. He completed four of the five takes that he tested.

Defensively, something that has been pointed out as a weakness in Diallo’s play, United’s loan was superb.

He made six incredible recoveries and won most of his running games, six of 10.

Diallo’s loan move is quickly turning out to be a fruitful and successful endeavor for United. His performances in the summer will deserve to be given a solid chance to establish himself as a first-team player. It’s also possible that Erik ten Hag calls on him this month as he continues his desperate search for attack reinforcements.
