Allegri reveals when Pogba will finally return

Max Allegri has revealed that Paul Pogba could return to contention within 20 days as fans await his involvement in their season.

The midfielder was injured in preseason with the Bianconeri and has yet to play an official match with them.

He has been working to get back to full fitness after delaying surgery and suffering setbacks on the way back.

Now it looks like he’ll be back sooner than we expect as Allegri offers an update on his future. He said via Calciomercato:

“When will he come back? She is running, the most important thing is that the knee does not bother momentarily. It is not inflated. In 15-20 days he will be with the team, it depends on developments, when the pace rises we will see how much and how he can train with the team. We will see step by step.”

Juve FC says

Pogba’s return has been so long overdue that it now seems we have moved on without him in our plans.

The midfielder was plagued with injuries in his final year on Manchester United’s books and we hope that doesn’t continue here.

We already have more than enough injury-prone players and the last thing we want is for Pogba to become one of them.
