Max Allegri has opened up about the depth of the problem he faces at Juventus.
The Bianconeri coach is under heavy pressure to win or leave the club.
Juve brought him back as their manager last term due to the success he achieved in his first spell as manager.
The Bianconeri trust him to continue to do well on the bench, but he has to show that he deserves to continue leading the club.
He appears to be fighting for his job and came prepared during his pre-match press conference.
Speaking about the situation at the club, he detailed how his team will play if they are not missing key players.
Allegri said, quoted by Football Italia:
“I am very sorry for this situation and many times I wonder if I have made mistakes. The first answer that comes to mind is that Juve had been thought of differently. With Rabiot-Paredes-Pogba in midfield plus Locatelli as first substitute.
“Di Maria and Chiesa on the wings, Vlahovic in the middle. Juve is now virtual. I know that we lack someone who can invent in the last thirty meters, but for that we signed Pogba and Di María. And we are developing Miretti, the most suitable for that role among those who are there.
“But he is not Pogba. He is only 19 years old.”
