Alisson given a hero’s reception by the Kop after clean sheet vs. West Ham

Alisson Becker was once again vital in ensuring Liverpool secured a win and a clean sheet against West Ham, his penalty saving understandable headlines in light of a narrow 1-0 win.

The Brazilian has been solid this season and repeatedly looks to prove he is the best goalkeeper in world football, with a Jarrod Bowen penalty kick giving him another chance to prove it.

As the 31-year-old defended the Anfield Road End goal in the second half, it was only once he made his way to the Kop that he got the thanks he deserved.

Roars of “Alisson! Alison! Alison! and soon to be followed by a classic hug from Jurgen Klopp, are certainly decent ways of knowing you’ve had a good match.
