Speaking after Liverpool and Everton drew 0-0, Alisson admitted that they did not deserve to win the game. “We didn’t win, so the answer is no,” Alisson told Liverpoolfc.com, when asked if Liverpool did enough to win the Merseyside derby.

Alisson also said that Liverpool improved their performance compared to previous games and that they defended well.

He added: “But we did quite well, we improved our performance compared to the last few games, we created chances, so many clear chances. We could have scored but the rival also had their chances.

“We defended well, enough to keep a clean sheet, that is the common goal of the team, we work hard for that. For today we get a point and move on.”
