Trent Alexander-Arnold is much loved by Liverpool supporters but hasn’t been given the chance to shine in England, and a former Red praised our right-back for the way he’s carrying himself despite this.
Writing for The Times, Adam Lallana said: “Alexander-Arnold is rightly lauded as one of the best full-backs in the world, but he must have felt, justifiably, that he was fourth choice for England recently.”
“However, his body language when he walked in was incredible. There was no sign of anger, that she didn’t want to be there or that he feels like he’s making up the numbers.”

There won’t be many better placed than our former midfielder to comment on the Scouser’s temperament on our team, but it’s fair to say that his brief cameo against the USA didn’t present a player with a bad attitude.
It’s not hard to see that Gareth Southgate doesn’t trust the 24-year-old and it would have been interesting to see if he was even in the team, if Reece James had been fit enough to travel to Qatar.
Even though our man has won every trophie the Reds have been offered, he has still played more cup finals for Jurgen Klopp’s side than the 90 minutes he has completed for his nation.
We all know the talent our No.66 possesses and even if he isn’t appreciated by his national team or rival supporters, it’s nice to see his current and former teammates understand his talent as well.
