Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho has poured cold water on Chelsea’s interest in him.
Garnacho burst into the spotlight after impressive Europa League performances with United before the World Cup break.
He scored the only goal for the Red Devils in the win against Real Sociedad.
In United’s final Premier League match, Garnacho’s stoppage-time winner against Fulham gave United all three points.
His promotion seems to have attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Some time ago it was reported that Real Madrid was interested in Garnacho, and they see him as a real objective that is in line with their policy of signing the best youngsters in the world.
Another hint followed soon after that the Spanish giants are actually not interested in the Argentine and are banking on him signing a new contract at Old Trafford.
United’s Premier League rivals Chelsea are the latest club linked to the 19-year-old.

United club bosses have been working hard to resolve Garnacho’s contract situation in an effort to get him to commit to Erik ten Hag’s long-term project at the club.
The player started United’s two friendly matches against Real Betis and Cádiz and had consistent performances in both.
After the defeat against Betis, Garnacho was asked about his future and a possible move to Spain. He cleverly dodged the question and refused to answer. His response to Chelsea will certainly delight fans.
