Agyarko defends WBA International belt against Dobson at Wembley – World Boxing Association

Irish super welterweight prospect Caoimhin Agyarko will make the third defense of his World Boxing Association (WBA) international belt against American Peter Dobson on October 29 at Wembley Arena.

The 25-year-old has been working his way up the 154-pound ranks and will now have a new test as he tries to keep his regional black and gold belt.

He won the crown last December when he defeated Noe Larios Jr. by TKO in 9 rounds. His first defense was on March 12 against Juan Carlos Rubio and the second against Lukasz Maciec last July.

Dobson is an American veteran fighting outside his country for the first time, but he is undefeated and has enough experience for a fight of this type. The 32-year-old New Yorker wants the opportunity to shine to be known abroad.

Agyarko has 12 wins, no losses and 7 knockouts. Dobson has 16 wins, 9 of them before the limit.
