Agent reveals why Juventus missed out on signing Haaland after a deal was already agreedJuvefc.com

Juventus is one of the clubs that discovered Erling Haaland before he rose to fame as one of the best strikers in the world.

The Norwegian now plays for Manchester City in the Premier League and can’t seem to stop scoring.

Juve realized his potential early in his career and football agent Vincenzo Morabito reveals that they even reached an agreement with his then-club Molde to sign him.

Everything was agreed and the Bianconeri were looking to send him to their Under-23 Serie C team or to another club to further develop.

However, they were unable to find a place for him to move to further his development.

Eventually Beppe Marotta deemed the deal too expensive and called it off.

“Everything was already done, but there was a question that called it all: ‘Where will he go?'”, Morabito tells Calciomercato.it through Football Italia.

“Beppe Marotta thought it was too expensive, so she said no.”

Juve FC says

Haaland only had potential at Molde and there was no guarantee he would have reached these heights had he moved to Juve.

The striker has become a great talent now and we were unable to sign him, but there is no need to punish ourselves for not bringing him to Italy sooner.
