Jurgen Klopp has opened up about the details of a meeting between him and the Liverpool team in reaction to the 4-1 loss to Napoli in Italy.
This update from the German at his pre-Ajax press conference was relayed on Twitter by Paul Gorst of the Echo as the Reds look set to host Alfred Schreuder’s men at Anfield on Tuesday.
“We had 4 or 5 days of absolute truth. Not to bring players down, just to make sure where we are now, this is the starting point for us to solve problems together on the field. Without pointing fingers at each other.”

The Merseysiders will be looking to deliver a significantly improved performance after shocking fans with a disastrous outing in Naples.

A 4-1 loss to Luciano Spalletti’s men at the Stadio Armando Diego Maradona has already ruined our chances of repeating that impressive feat this year, though it certainly shouldn’t rule us out enjoying a potentially successful run in the Champions League.
