A doctored video surfaced as a Saudi player asked Lionel Messi to turn to Islam

Lionel Messi: Saudi Arabia recorded a 2-1 clash against Argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday. Lionel Messi gave the Albiceleste an early lead which was canceled out by Saleh Alshehri in the second half before Salem Aldawsari scored the winner for the Green Falcons.

The Argentina team is one of the most talented in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. They are largely considered among the favorites to win the tournament. This defeat will serve as a heavy blow to their self-confidence in the future. They then take on Mexico on November 27 before taking on Poland for their final group stage game on December 1.

In the video given, Al-Bulayhi was seen telling Lionel Messi: “If you’re not a Muslim and you become a Muslim, it doesn’t matter what you do in life, straight to heaven.” Since then, many comments have been shared on social media regarding the video.
