Liverpool midfielder scores screamer as Fabio Carvalho plays 48 hours after transfer – Liverpool FC

Fabio Carvalho and Tyler Morton performed together in the first moment of the question, with the latter scoring a fantastic goal in Friday night’s televised championship game.

Tyler Morton has excelled at Hull since joining on loan in the summer. With 23 appearances to his name, he has become a fan favorite on Humberside.

Someone else who has made an instant impact is Fabio Carvalho. Just two days after completing his loan move to Hull, the Portuguese was back on track with a solid performance, despite the Tigers’ 2-1 loss to Norwich.

Although they lost 2-1, Liverpool’s loanees played well and Morton capped his performance with an impressive long-range goal with his weaker left foot.

The first half of Morton and Carvalho’s campaigns couldn’t have been more different.

Morton was called up to the England Under-21 team and has been notable in his progression since last season at Blackburn.

Meanwhile, in Germany, Carvalho’s shares fell sharply. He played just 360 minutes for RB Leipzig and the club’s sporting director, Rouven Schroder, explained this week why he terminated his loan early.

“Fabio has a great character, but he realized: ‘Okay, here’s a competitor, I have to do more!'” Schroder told RB Live.

“We realized he didn’t want to face the competition.”

On Friday, Carvalho helped restore some of the confidence in his talent, with manager Liam Rosenior using him as an attacking midfielder with some freedom.

Although he faded towards the end, the 21-year-old won 10 duels in the first half and completed five dribbles, the most of anyone.

On top of that, it created two chances, hopefully a sign of things to come. Morton also played well, making five of five accurate passes and scoring brilliantly in stoppage time, although it was a consolation.

Next up for Hull is a trip to Birmingham City for the FA Cup third round replay.
