Eddie Hearn talks about Taylor vs. Cameron III
During the interview, Hearn spoke about the announcement of the Fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannouthe situation of Devin Haney vs Ryan García and the planning of Joe Cordina’s next fight.
Following these points, the Matchroom Sport president was asked if Taylor would vacate the lightweight belts and how this could affect a potential trilogy fight with Cameron: “I think the fight Katie wants is Chantelle Cameron. We know there is the Serrano fight, there are other options, but let’s be honest, Cameron One and Cameron 2 were two brilliant events, classic fights..”
He continued: “I think the trilogy would be an amazing fight.”
Hearn added: “Katie has told us we would like to fight Chantelle Cameron.”
Towards the end of the interview, he talked about opening official talks this week and mentioned May as a potential month for the fight. He also revealed what will please Taylor fans – that there has been progress with Croke Park hosting the fight.
In the 135-pound scene, Hearn confirmed that he wants to host Carolina Dubois vs. Rhiannon Dixonbut he hopes that the fight will go to auctions.

During the interview, Hearn also spoke favorably about the prospects of Callum Smith vs. Artur Beterbiev, which will take place on Saturday, January 13 at the Videotron Center in Quebec City. The Matchroom Boxing promoter said about the fight: “I think he’s going to do it. One of the greatest victories in British boxing.“
And he added confidently: “You’ll see us all jumping over the top rope and celebrating in style.“
