Ant Middleton, presenter of SAS reality TV show ‘Who Dares Wins’, has offered to try and coach Manchester United’s underperforming players.

This season, United simply haven’t been good enough.

Currently, the Red Devils occupy eighth position in the Premier League standings after 20 games played. United have lost nine of them.

Erik ten Hag’s men were also eliminated from the Champions League and Carabao Cup.

The team’s most realistic chance of winning titles this season is the FA Cup.

United beat Wigan Athletic on Monday night at the DW Stadium, to advance to the fourth round of the competition. They will face either Newport County or Eastleigh, depending on the outcome of the match between the two teams on Tuesday.

As noted by The Daily Mail, Ant Middleton took to X (formerly Twitter) and offered to help Ten Hag with regards to getting his players in shape with a special training camp for extreme team-building and bonding exercises.

He wrote: “Manchester United, let’s do it!”

“To bond and build extreme teams, contact Ant Middleton’s World of Extremes!”

He also left his email in case the club decided to accept his offer.

The Guardian describes the show – SAS: Who Dares Wins – as a military-style series.

Some of the activities that program participants are subjected to include resistance to interrogation challenges, interrogation punishment techniques, handling extremely stressful positions, and, of course, physically demanding exercises.

However, Ten Hag and the club are unlikely to explore that option. Attention now turns to United’s next match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
