Liverpool’s number 66 talisman will miss the next few games due to a knee injury suffered against Arsenal.
In his press conference, Pep Lijnders revealed that Trent Alexander-Arnold will be out for “probably three weeks” due to the problem.
This would mean he will miss Liverpool’s next five games and possibly return for another trip to the Emirates on February 4.

Young goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros will be on loan at Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga for the rest of the season. A good move for him. With Andy Madley named referee, Paul Tierney will act as VAR for Liverpool’s trip to Bournemouth – great news, no one ever said it. David Lynch reports for This Is Anfield that he is “much less certain than it seemed” that Mo Salah would want to move to Saudi Arabia.
Latest news from Liverpool FC
Lijnders said, “We spent a lot of money in the summer and really invested in the team,” adding that “ownership really brought in the right players.” Against Arsenal, Liverpool broke their own viewing record for the FA Cup third round on British television: more than 7.6 million people tuned in!
