Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring in defensive reinforcements next month and have identified Radu Dragusin as a target.
According to Fabrizio Romano, they are interested in addressing their defensive situation soon and have already started talks with Genoa regarding the signing of the 21-year-old centre-back.
Romano says an offer could be made soon and it remains to be seen if the two sides can reach an agreement.
The Romanian has been a quality player for Genoa and also has the capacity to do well in the Premier League. Tottenham desperately need defensive reinforcements, especially after injuries to Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven. Eric Dier has also been linked with a departure from the club.
Tottenham desperately need quality central defenders and Dragusin would be a solid long-term acquisition for them. The 21-year-old is one of the best young defenders in the Italian league and could become an asset for Tottenham in the long term.
The Romanian is likely to improve with training and experience and someone like Ange Postecoglou could play a key role in his development. The Australian manager has done well to develop talented young players at Celtic in the past.
??? I understand Tottenham want to finalize a new central defender deal next week – Todibo is still talking – but if it doesn’t happen soon, Spurs have another plan.
?? Told Spurs have now also started talks with Genoa for Radu Dragusin! The offer could be sent soon.

Dragusin will undoubtedly help Tottenham strengthen their defense and quality signings like him could help Spurs get their progress back into the top four on track.
The 21-year-old defender has won more aerial duels than any other defender in the Italian league this season and has only been dribbled once. There is no doubt that he is a prodigious talent with the qualities to become one of the best defenders in Europe.
