Arsecast Extra Episode 560 – 24.12.2023

Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with me and James from @gunnerblog.

In this episode we look back at the exciting 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Saturday night. Arsenal got off to a good start and took the lead, but should the hosts be awarded a penalty after Martin Odegaard’s handball? We chatted about their draw and how we defended, as well as all the other important incidents, the slippery pitch, Alexander-Arnold hitting the bar, the solid defense on both sides, and whether or not a point is a good return from this game for us, despite what television narratives may suggest. We then answer some questions about Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba, partial experts and also a couple of festive questions, before playing with a musical number.

Merry Christmas to all.
