Klopp receives boost ahead of Wolves clash after Tuesday development

Darwin Nunez will be included in Liverpool’s squad to face Wolves at Anfield on Wednesday after demonstrating his fitness to Jurgen Klopp on Tuesday afternoon.

The Uruguayan forward missed the Reds’ 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last Saturday as a result of a shoulder injury suffered against Newcastle seven days earlier.

The 23-year-old played on painkiller injections against Real Madrid last week but is said to be fully fit to face Wolves on Wednesday night, Football Insider reports.

The Uruguay international emerged unscathed from Tuesday afternoon training and will be a big boost for Jurgen Klopp.

Núñez’s form has proven to be up and down this season, as he signed with Benfica in the summer, but in every game, it’s clear that the 23-year-old is always a threat.

The striker has been playing on the left wing in Klopp’s system of late and is expected to start there again against Wolves, should the German manager decide to start him.
