Manchester United are looking for a new striker this summer, and Lille leader Jonathan David probably can’t be ruled out as one of the names under their consideration.

“He has returned to a good level of consistency this season, and now there is a lot of interest in him from clubs in Germany. I think the clubs will also now know that his price has most likely been reduced to less than €50m.
“His agent has talked about playing in England and Spain in the past, but I think he would also be open to someone like RB Leipzig, who have Max Eberl, who was a big fan of the player when he was at Borussia Monchengladbach. Obviously there would be a place for him in Leipzig so I think he is one to watch and I definitely think Jonathan David will be one to watch in terms of movement this summer.
