Tottenham transfer news: Club targeting Evan Ndicka

Tottenham are reportedly considering making a move for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka before the summer transfer window.

According to 90Min Football, Antonio Conte is eager to add another central defender to the club as they look to move to a three-back formation.

Ndicka has been one of the Bundesliga’s standout defenders since joining Frankfurt in 2018 from Auxerre and as a left-footed centre-back – a rarity in football today – he is in demand.

The 23-year-old has made 31 appearances in all competitions this year, featuring in all of Frankfurt’s league and Champions League matches and has no recent history of injury, with his latest absence from action coming in 2021, which which demonstrates its reliability.

Spurs’ interest will be boosted by the fact that Ndicka is also out of contract in June, which means they could get him on a free transfer, but that may see other teams register interest so they’ll have to be in maximum alert.

This could certainly be a rumor to watch as July approaches.
