Why Juventus cannot win the race for Chelsea star

Juventus are one of the clubs monitoring Mason Mount as Chelsea struggle to link the midfielder to a new deal.

The demands of the Englishman are considered too much for them, which has opened the door for other clubs to add him to their squad.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in the former Derby County borrower and Juve are also following the situation in London.

However, a report on Tuttojuve reveals that the possibility of the bianconeri adding him to their team is remote and this is for the same reason he could leave Chelsea.

Which Mount is looking for, as his salary is simply too much for Juve to pay and he is unlikely to trade London for Turin.

Juve FC says

Mount has been a good midfielder in England, but we can’t add him to our squad.

The transfer race will be dominated by Premier League clubs and English players rarely leave their top flight unless they have no options there.

We need to find alternatives to the target because adding Mount to our team would be a long shot and there’s no need to waste all our efforts on him.

In the summer, more players would be willing to join us who can even have a better impact on the team.
