“Not in my hands” – Klopp provides major summer transfer update

Liverpool fans have been aware that this summer looks to be one of big changes and Jurgen Klopp has now pretty much confirmed everyone’s thoughts with a big statement of intent.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, the 55-year-old said: “Now you’re talking about Jude and that’s a different topic, but overall, [not qualifying for the Champions League] It makes things always more difficult, but we are still Liverpool, we are still a great club…

“We will have transfer business, that is obvious. We have to make changes and that is all clear that everyone knows it and it will happen.

“How much is going to happen is out of my hands but we are in constant conversations and everyone knows exactly what we need.”

The boss was quick to dismiss Jude Bellingham’s question but seemed to hint that he intends a big summer of transfer action – but he may not have the final say on how much.

Whether it’s FSG with the stock market strings or the anticipation of new owners and investors, which could affect how much work the club can get done, it looks like we can expect action no matter what.
