Report: Juventus still tracking young Torino fullback Wilfried Singo

In recent months, the reports going around have been linking Juventus with a plethora of full-backs who can replace Juan Cuadrado on the right flank. The Colombian elder is running with an expiring contract, and most opinions agree that this should be his last campaign in Turin.

But while Wilfried Singo’s name has not been among the top candidates for the role, an emerging report claims the player remains on the Bianconeri’s roster.

According to TuttoJuve, Juventus continues to follow the evolution of Torino’s right-back and would be willing to splurge a figure of between 15 and 18 million euros for his services.

However, it remains to be seen if Granata would be willing to part with the Ivorian for this sum. However, it should be noted that the player’s contract will expire in 2024, so Torino could be losing control of the situation.

Singo initially joined Torino’s youth ranks from AS Denguélé in January 2019, before finally making his breakthrough with the senior team.

This season, he has made 16 appearances in Serie A and four in the Coppa Italia so far, providing two assists in all competitions. He has also made four caps for the Ivory Coast senior team.

Juve FC says

Juventus and Torino may be cross rivals, but both front offices have taken a pragmatic approach when it comes to the transfer market, and the Gleison Bremer trade is the latest proof.

So as long as the Bianconeri present a satisfactory proposal, the Granata will not veto the transfer.
