Klopp now ‘contemplating’ Liverpool exit; already told possible next club to sign Bellingham & Mbappe – report

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly “contemplating” a possible departure from Liverpool this summer amid mounting pressure on Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid.

This claim comes courtesy of El Nacional (via GOAL), and Los Blancos are said to have already contacted the German tactician about the role of head coach, should the Italian fail to win a major trophy this season.

Even more notable, the Catalonia-based outlet has alleged that the 55-year-old has told the reigning Champions League holders to sign both Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe.

While Klopp has certainly looked more worn-out this term amid our ongoing struggles to correct poor form since the return of domestic football, it seems inconceivable that he would so easily abandon the required rebuild at Anfield.

Of course, reassurances will need to be provided to keep up the manager’s appetite for the task at hand, though anyone doubting the manager’s credentials on this point should be quickly referred to the near complete absence of belief and gaming identity that was evident before his arrival.

That’s not to say the coach is entirely immune to any criticism and should take some of the blame for the calls made on and off the pitch.

But objectively, there is no coach better prepared for the challenge of restoring confidence levels in L4.
