Manchester United under-18s hosted Newcastle United at Carrington on Saturday morning as they continued their quest for the title.
An early effort came from James Nolan, who was deployed in an unusual role of central midfielder, as he went for the spectacular from 25 yards that went too late over the crossbar.

It was all United in the second half and the young full-back nearly grabbed another cross from Williams who found a wide-open central Scanlon in the box but his full-back shot flew over the bar.
The game was finally sealed in stoppage time with a second from Musa, a missed clearance from the Newcastle goalkeeper going straight to Musa, who ran into the box and slipped into the left corner.
