Erik ten Hag makes worrying admission over Manchester United star Anthony Martia

Erik ten Hag has made a worrying admission about Manchester United striker Anthony Martial.

Martial has endured a difficult season plagued by injuries and is once again unavailable for Manchester United’s next game against Leeds.

Usually injury-prone players get recurring injuries from the same problem, but Ten Hag has now admitted that’s not the case with Martial.

“No, each time in different areas. For now, it’s his hip. It’s not always available, but I also see the other side when it’s available. He was never 100 per cent this season, but he had a huge impact every time he was available, even when he was 80, 85, 90 per cent,” Ten Hag said of Martial, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

If Martial had a recurring injury in a certain area, they may be able to fix the problem with surgery. The fact that Martial is constantly injuring different parts of his body is a worrying sign for Manchester United.

Martial hasn’t completed 90 minutes for the club in over two years and it might be time Manchester United consider trading him as he simply cannot be trusted.

Hopefully the latest injury setback isn’t bad and Manchester United can have Martial fit and firing in the coming weeks, but there’s no doubt the fans at Old Trafford won’t get their hopes up.
