Journalist urges John Elkann to stop Juventus payments for Vlahovic and Chiesa

Juventus have been in the news for all the wrong reasons and it seems their former president and board of directors made too many bad decisions.

They have now left office and the new leaders are facing some of the worst situations in the club’s history, which could have a major effect on the team at the end of this season.

Juve have already had 15 points taken from them, but their players aren’t even playing well, considering they now have a big mountain to climb.

Journalist Tony Damascelli is unhappy with the team’s performance and believes that Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic are not worth the money Juve agreed to pay for their transfers.

Damascelli has now urged John Elkann to stop making the payments that the Bianconeri send to Fiorentina for signing.

He says via Tuttomercatoweb:

“The world champions are overpaid and indifferent tourists, the two veterans of Commisso (Chiesa and Vlahovic, ed.) in search of lost football, in fact if Elkann had a second of courage he could not honor the one hundred and twenty million to be paid to the Florentine”.

Juve FC says

Chiesa and Vlahovic are still two of the best players in Serie A and it’s ridiculous to think that they are the team’s problem.

Players play following the manager’s instructions and it’s the gaffer’s job to find a system that makes them prosper.
