“My main goal is to still win trophies”: Bruno Fernandes reflects on his three years at Man United – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has expressed his desire to continue winning trophies at Old Trafford.

Fernandes spoke to the club’s media on his third anniversary of signing for United and stated that his goals and ambitions remain the same as when he arrived from Sporting Lisbon.

Fewer recruits have made as much of an impact as Fernandes did when he signed with United.

His goals and assists helped push United to the limit in the 2019/20 season to finish in third position and within a Champions League spot.

In the following campaign, the prominence of the Portuguese in front of the goal helped to get a second place.

Fernandes said: “I still feel like my main goal is to keep winning trophies. I think the goal of this club has always been to win trophies and we can’t hide it.”

“You have to think game by game and think that the next one is more important. The objective, the global objective of the club is always to win trophies and it means a lot for the club, for the fans and the players”.

“No player comes to Manchester United thinking that the main goal is not to win trophies.”

Fernandes added that everyone who comes to the Theater of Dreams knows what the club is and what it means to wear the United crest.

According to the playmaker, there are many players who want to play for United but will never get the chance, so he and his teammates are privileged.

The 28-year-old revealed that even if he has a chance to lift trophies this season, he won’t stop. He will continue to look to the future to win the next award.

With United competing on all four fronts so far, Fernandes has a chance to end United’s trophy drought and achieve his main goal.
