Moises Caicedo’s agents actively pushing for January move

Brighton and Hove Albion remain steadfast in their stance that Moisés Caicedo is not for sale in this transfer window.

According to Ben Jacobs, the player’s agents are actively working to monitor his departure and are “doing everything in their power” to force a move in January. However, the club does not give in its decision.

There has been speculation about Caicedo’s future for several weeks, but even more so in the last day, as Arsenal turned down a £60m offer from the Seagulls.

The 21-year-old then opted to speak out about the situation himself, taking to Twitter to express his desire to leave Brighton in a candid statement.

Caicedo will not play for the club until the transfer market closes

Since then, the Ecuadorian was told not to attend training until February 1 after the transfer deadline expired. Therefore, he will be excluded from the matchday squad to face Liverpool in the FA Cup, and Roberto De Zerbi expects him to play a key role during the second half of the season.

The Gunners and Chelsea are the two clubs in the running for Caicedo. Liverpool has been linked and has not shown concrete interest.
