Nicolo Zaniolo turns down Bournemouth, keen on Tottenham transfer

Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo has been linked with a move to England this month.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth are trying to sign the player and the club’s board decided to travel to Rome to discuss a possible transfer with the 23-year-old midfielder.

However, the Italian international midfielder has turned down the chance to join the Cherries and hopes to sign for either Tottenham Hotspur or AC Milan.

Apparently, the player has no intention of signing for Bournemouth despite the fact that the Italian club is willing to approve a transfer of 30 million euros.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham make an offer for the 23-year-old in the coming days.

Antonio Conte could certainly use more creativity in the final third and Zaniolo would be an excellent long-term edit.

The 23-year-old can operate as a central attacking midfielder as well as a winger. His versatility will be an added bonus for the London club.

The likes of Harry Kane will certainly benefit from the Italian’s arrival and he will help create chances for his teammates.
