Dallas’ defense was one of the best and most improved in the NFL. Linebacker Micah Parsons has been one of the best on the defensive side of the ball. Cornerback Trevon Diggs is also one of the best young cornerbacks in the league. He has the young talent on this defense to want to stay.

Quinn appears to have had more success as a defensive coordinator. His tenure as head coach with the Atlanta Falcons had its ups and downs, to be sure, but he’s better suited in a defensive role. Quinn said that he wanted to win a Super Bowl in Dallas. Time that was a good idea, remains to be seen.

With Quinn sticking around, Dallas appears to be a favorite to at least make the playoffs according to Texas sportsbooks. Going further will be the real challenge for this team.
