Chelsea could look in-house to solve some midfield issues – Talk Chelsea

Chelsea are currently looking to sign a new midfielder in this window as part of a huge team rebuild. Late moves by Enzo Fernández from Benfica and Moisés Caicedo from Brighton look quite possible.

But could Chelsea also look internally when considering new names for their midfield rebuild?

Well, maybe they could, and probably should be.

Chelsea allowed new signing Andrey Santos out to play in the South American Championship this month, and it’s proving to be a great decision.

When they signed him, he was always going to be like a player of the future and one of ‘Vision 2030’. But right now, Santos is really coming out and making people take note of his name, for many reasons.

Santos is making his name heard in South America at the moment and has scored twice in his last two matches for Brazil Under-20s. Last night, she captained his team to a 3-1 win over their nearest rival, Argentina.

Chelsea’s rebuild is currently taking place, and Santos is already really pushing himself up front. Maybe he will arrive next season as the third midfielder? I can see. Maybe even go in now and save Chelsea some money? I haven’t seen it enough yet to make that judgment, personally.

But regardless, which player we have on our hands here, and which leader already at the age of only 18 years old. Doing locker room team talks before is also a lot like John Terry. This is brilliant:

She’s certainly making her name heard right now, and I’m sure Chelsea will hear more!
