Moggi says injustice cannot kill Juventus

Former Juventus president Luciano Moggi insists the Bianconeri can survive injustice after they were stripped of 15 league points for capital gains violations.

Juve have been under investigation on several fronts recently and the Bianconeri had their points removed after their capital gains case was reopened.

Max Allegri’s men remain a team to beat in the league this season, but the points deduction means a top-four finish will make the players heroes.

They could even receive further punishment for paying their players under the table during the covid-19 outbreak in 2020.

Reacting to the deduction, Moggi said after Juventus drew 3-3 with Atalanta via Tuttomercatoweb:

“Pride-focused Juve also won the physical duels, pressing hard with one and more players. Obviously the Neapolitan bastard and later business hardships made this team compact. The fact is that for Atalanta the point can be important in terms of qualifying for the Champions League, while for Juve it can be the sign of those who never die despite the injustices that are too often committed to their detriment.

Juve FC says

Juve are arguably the Italian club that have survived the most amount of problems and will surely come out of this one alive.

The Bianconeri have had financial problems of late, but it remains a well-run club. If they appeal this deduction, there is a good chance it will change or be waived.
