Sarri has his say on Juventus being docked 15 points

Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri was asked directly about the issues swirling around Juventus at the moment.

The 64-year-old was asked specifically about Juves’ recent 15-point deduction, to which he responded as quoted by Tuttojuve.com.

“We don’t have to think about that, it’s an evolving situation. Last night for Juve-Atalanta I saw two very, very strong teams. The goal is to give 100%. I have not heard any comments from the players about the Juventus penalty. It’s irrelevant to us.”

That’s fair enough of Sarri’s part, it’s irrelevant to Lazio and while it’s highly unlikely that his players haven’t spoken about the situation, it’s just as likely that they haven’t discussed it with him.

Obviously Sarri has a history with Juventus and could have used this opportunity to stick his boot but he chose otherwise and is to be applauded for that, too many people have too much to say.

All Juve can do is put their heads down and start the process of rebuilding their season to the best of their ability, there is still a lot to play for including the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.
