Exclusive: Kiwior to Arsenal transfer imminent, Fresneda talks + more – Fabrizio Romano

Good morning guys and welcome to the latest edition of my exclusive Daily Briefing!

Arsenal have been following Jakub Kiwior for months; They already had contacts from the player before the World Cup, he will sign the contract within the next 24 hours. West Ham wanted him last summer, Juventus wanted him and AC Milan negotiated with Spezia in November.

Kiwior completed all medical tests on Sunday: he will soon be introduced as a new Arsenal player once his five-and-a-half-year contract is signed. Spezia and Arsenal have already signed all the documents for a 25 million euro deal.

At the moment there is no way for Arsenal to sign Eduardo Camavinga. Camavinga is not leaving in January, he is untouchable for Real Madrid and he does not want to leave.

I don’t know about summer, it’s too soon to know for sure what the situation will be by then; but today, Camavinga is 100% part of the Madrid project.

Many top clubs want Camavinga, but his agent has confirmed it and Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that he is staying.

Arsenal has opened talks to sign Iván Fresneda, who was not in Valladolid’s starting eleven due to these negotiations. Newcastle are also interested and the player’s agents will be in London next week to talk to English clubs. Arsenal are now seriously targeting the talented young right-back, so he’s one to watch, particularly if Cedric Soares ends up joining Fulham.

Mikel Arteta: “Leandro Trossard’s age is not a problem, the squad can absorb a 28-year-old player. With the right experience, the right versatility, the right quality. It’s not like we had to sign 20, 21, 22-year-olds for the next five years. That’s not the plan.”

Official, confirmed. Youssoufa Moukoko signs a new contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2026. He said: “I was honored by the interest from other clubs, but in the end it is a decision of the heart. The fans have always supported me and I also want to give something back to them and to the club”.

Brighton are set to sign Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari, a deal has been agreed with AIK and here we go: deal for a fee of around €6m. Ayari will travel to England in the next few days with his agents to undergo medical tests and sign the contract.

Chelsea are following Malo Gusto, they are interested in a new right-back, but at the moment there is no official offer for him, nor for another target, Denzel Dumfries. Still, Chelsea are worth keeping an eye on in the days to come because they want a new right-back and midfielder, with Moises Caicedo also on their list, although Brighton don’t want to sell. Chelsea already had contacts for Caicedo, but it’s not an easy deal, let’s see what happens.

Arnaut Danjuma to Everton, here we come! A full agreement was reached overnight and the details are now sorted. Done deal, Danjuma is back in the Premier League. He has completed his medical tests with Everton, and it should be announced soon: a loan until the end of the season with no option to buy.

On the Mason Mount rumours: Right now, I’m told that Liverpool’s top priority is still Jude Bellingham and they’re also following Matheus Nunes. Let’s see what will happen with Mount, for now we have to clarify the situation of his new contract since the talks with Chelsea have been going on for months.

Jurgen Klopp on Roberto Firmino out of contract in June: “I want Firmino to stay here. He knows the situation and what we think of him. There is no problem. He’s great, but I don’t know 1000% what his plans are. James Milner? He is an incredibly important player.”

According to Christian Falk, Jurgen Klopp privately feels that Liverpool can win the race for Jude Bellingham, unless money becomes the main issue, in which case Real Madrid would be the favourites. Click here to read more.

Manchester City have completed the signing of Argentine talent Máximo Perrone: the documents are signed by the clubs/players, here we go confirmed! Perrone joins Man City on a deal that will run until June 2028 from Velez – deal done as revealed in December, now complete and to be officially announced soon.

Manchester United will explore many situations for a top striker in June, but at the moment I am not aware of any contacts between Harry Kane and any other club. He is focused on Tottenham, talks about a new deal are still slow and rumors are normal, but Antonio Conte’s future will also be crucial to understanding Kane’s plans.

I know there is a lot of noise about this, but Man United are hoping for new ownership, probably new people on the board like Chelsea… Man United are always in the news with these stories, but the reality is that now it is not decided who it goes. be the new striker There will be plenty of options for sure, and Erik ten Hag will be involved in the process of identifying the best target.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka could now end up staying at Manchester United until at least the end of the season as it stands. Wolves, Crystal Palace and West Ham asked about him in December but there is still no green light. Man Utd are still in talks to extend Diogo Dalot’s contract.

Eduardo Camavinga will not leave Real Madrid this January. He wants to stay and the club are happy with him, despite his links with Arsenal.

His agent Joshua Barnett tells me: “There is no truth. Of course all the clubs in the world would like him, but he is very happy at Real Madrid and Real Madrid is very happy with Camavinga”.

The Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, confirms this: “We won’t let Camavinga leave, he is untouchable, like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos”.

Fran García: “Playing for Real Madrid has always been my dream since I was a child, it’s the club of my life and I’m working hard to be able to return, but now I’m focused on Rayo”. García is still on the Real Madrid list, highly valued by the club.

Despite the Manchester United links, I am not aware of any conversations between Harry Kane and any other club. Speculation like this is normal when talks about a new contract are ongoing and moving slowly.

Pedro Porro talks about Tottenham: “I’m not talking about the possibilities of the market, of staying or leaving. I am focused on Sporting and I am happy here”.

Josip Juranovic to Union Berlin, here we go confirmed after the news revealed on Friday! Understand Juranovic will undergo medical tests on Sunday. Fixed fee of 8 million euros plus accessories for Celtic. The contract will run until June 2027.
