Super Bowl Winner Derek Wolfe Slammed for Killing Mountain Lion

Former NFL star Derek Wolfe has come under fire from shocked fans on social media after he was photographed lifting a massive mountain lion that he personally hunted and killed.

The former Denver Broncos, for whom he won the 2015 Super Bowl, and most recently defensive end for the Baltimore Ravens, has come under fire from horrified fans after it emerged the 32-year-old had killed a mountain lion.

According to Wolfe, the creature had been “wreaking havoc in a rural neighborhood” after he revealed that a mule deer and two dogs were found dead in an Instagram post.

It’s no secret that the 2022 retiree is an avid fisherman hunter and spends much of his time tracking animals, but after hearing a woman’s plea for help after her two dogs went missing, he decided to go on an apparent trek 9,600 feet through the mountains of Colorado and take matters into your own hands.

“Exhausted, dehydrated, cramping, I drew my bow and put an arrow through it,” Wolfe wrote on Instagram. “Then I had to crawl back down the mountain with him to get him to the truck.”

Wolfe, who is approximately six foot five, can be seen holding the massive mountain lion after managing to catch and kill it, while also adding that it probably weighed around 195 pounds.

Another trophy to add to the cabinet perhaps for Denver’s second-round pick (36th overall) in 2012. The Broncos defensive linesman spent eight years in Colorado, where he now resides, and apparently enjoys hunting game. wild as moose, deer and bear.
