Chelsea transfer news: Bissouma Kessie interest

Chelsea are reportedly looking at alternatives to Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández in midfield as we approach the end of the January transfer window.

The Blues look set to wrestle with big-name deals for either Caicedo or Fernández, so they are now considering other options, with Tottenham misfit Yves Bissouma on their radar, along with Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie, according to the Telegraph.

However, the report suggests that Juventus ace Weston McKennie is not among Chelsea’s options, although Spurs have not given much encouragement to the west London giants after they made an inquiry for Bissouma, who played with Graham Potter in Brighton.

Chelsea could do with making middle of the park signings as both N’Golo Kante and Jorginho are out of contract at the end of the season.

The report notes that Chelsea are close to signing PSV striker Noni Madueke, as Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed.

It’s been a busy transfer window under ambitious new owner Todd Boehly, who also brought in a host of big names over the summer.
