Facundo Pellistri has received loan offers from clubs around the world – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United’s Facundo Pellistri has received loan offers from clubs around the world as he looks to seek more minutes on the pitch.

It’s been a strange season for the youngster who is desperate to break into the first team.

Having recently made his debut as a substitute yesterday in the 3-0 Carabao Cup win against Charlton, times seem to be changing for the winger.

He assisted on Marcus Rashford’s first goal and contributed to many great plays during the 10 minutes he played.

He drew praise from Erik ten Hag as he helped seal victory in what was a difficult second half for Man United.

Journalist Jonathan Shrager has confirmed that Pellistri has received loan offers from Valencia and Flamengo.

He recently said on Twitter: “Pellistri received formal loan offers in January from both Valencia and Flamengo, but the player ideally wants to stay at Manchester United to show his value to Erik ten Hag.

“His representative will meet soon with MUFC executives to discuss Facundo’s plans”

The 21-year-old attracted interest during the World Cup campaign after being surprisingly selected for Uruguay despite not having played a game for United.

It was reported a couple of months ago that Pellistri was not happy with his minutes on the field.

While he wants to impress Ten Hag for the remaining six months of the campaign, he would at least like to play more soccer.

United are stacked in position with Anthony Elanga, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford ahead of him in the pecking order.

The return of Jadon Sancho will make him slip further unless he can really start to get going in the first team.

A loan move may seem more feasible for one end of the club, with Pellistri attracting huge interest from around the world.

Ten Hag may need to decide whether to let one of his wingers go, either on loan or permanently, to keep the current setup happy.
